Jeffrey D. Parker Memorial Scholarship
Born on November 10, 1984, Jeffrey Parker was a graduate of Foxboro High School and the University at Buffalo. From there he began to coach the JV's and Upper Weights of our Franklin High School Wrestling team in the fall of 2008. Without Jeff, it is questionable as to whether or not it would have been possible for the FHS wrestling team to make history and win the state title back-to-back, in two separate divisions.
Jeff was loved and revered as a coach, but more importantly as a friend. Unfortunately, Jeff Parker passed away in May 2010, after a long drawn-out battle with cancer. He will never be forgotten by the many people he touched and the athletes that he coached.
A scholarship has been set up in his name, to honor the personality traits and spirit of this incredible young man.
